VisitWiltshire Helps Local Businesses Grow

VisitWiltshire, the countywide marketing organisation dedicated to the promotion of Wiltshire, has implemented some major changes to its business as it creates more opportunities to assist local tourism business to grow.
Since the start of 2011, VisitWiltshire has ploughed additional budget into producing radio advertising campaigns, promotions on London buses and advertising in targeted magazines, newspapers and online sites. To complement this activity VisitWiltshire has also assisted with around 10 media visits to the county so that journalists from around the world can write about Wiltshire.
As part of the new campaigns to promote Wiltshire and all it has to offer visitors, VisitWiltshire plans to create a range of new pocket guides for towns and villages around the county.
A number of members from around the county are already seeing the benefits of being a member of VisitWiltshire. Amongst those to comment are:

As highlighted by some of the member’s comments above, on top of the benefits of advertising in the guide, those who sign up are also provided with a number of other services. These include free PR opportunities, free entry onto the VisitWiltshire website and invitations to a number of free networking events throughout the year.
Members will also have access to a range of great money saving offers from discounted rates for insurance and credit card services to free accounting advice. There is also an opportunity to sign up to a free energy brokerage service to ensure that businesses are paying the lowest possible rates for gas and electric.
