Morning - Malmesbury Abbey. Explore the 12th century Abbey and grounds in the beautiful north Wiltshire town of Malmesbury. Whilst in Malmesbury ensure you visit Abbey House Gardens with over 10,000 species of plants.
Lunch - Malmesbury or Chippenham
Afternoon - Visit the famous village of Lacock, owned by the National Trust and a popular film location. There is also the Fox Talbot Museum - dedicated to the history of photography.
Overnight - Malmesbury
Day 2
Morning - Start your day with a visit to the Iron Age hill fort of Old Sarum, the original site of Salisbury. See the ruins of the former Cathedral and learn the history behind why Salisbury Cathedral is now situated where it is.
Lunch - Salisbury
Afternoon - Salisbury Cathedral. Visit the magnificent medieval cathedral with the tallest spire in Britain, reputedly Europe's oldest working clock and the new font.
