When it comes to spa hotels Wiltshire offers some of the best in the UK with a range of exciting treatments at spectacular locations. Below is a selection of the best on offer.

1. Bowood

Opened in 2009, the spa at Bowood, located near Chippenham, is only available to hotel guests and spa members. Among the features of the spa are a crystal steam room, rock sauna, aromatherapy showers and a 15 x 6 metre infinity pool with separate Jacuzzi. Elemis branded face and body treatments are also available. The entire spa, pool and gym area looks out onto Bowood's extensive grounds and beyond, providing users with spectacular panoramic views. The general spa is complimentary to guests while specific treatments are available at an additional fee.

2. Lucknam Park

Lucknam Park near Chippenham is a stunning Palladian mansion dating from 1720 which is now a beautiful five star hotel. The spa is set within a walled garden and offers total rest and relaxation with the colours and materials all in keeping with its picturesque setting. Numerous face and body treatments are available along with full use of the facilities which include indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy pools, five thermal cabins, salt water plunge pool, experience showers and a relaxation room. 5. Bishopstrow House Hotel

Bishopstrow's Hacylon spa opened in 2009 offering a high class experience to accompany this already magnificent hotel near Warminster. These include those for the face and body plus specific treatments aimed at couples and men.
