The museum, housed in the old schoolmaster's house, illustrates the life and work of the village from christening robe to coffin plate. Market Lavington has had professional photographers for 120 years and their efforts record every aspect of farming, malting, brick-making, transport and gardening, as well as notable events. This brings to life the exhibits which were either made or used locally and which have been preserved by the museum.
