Bowood House and Gardens
Bowood House and Gardens combines historic learning and spectacular surroundings with the thrill of adventure for children aged two to twelve. The ‘Capability Brown’ park includes a 40-acre lake, waterfall and provides ample space for games and picnics.  The superb adventure playground boasts a life-size pirate ship, high level rope-walks, giant slides, and famous Space Dive. A wonderful Elizabethan Manor with a small adventure playground and the 'Great British Maze'. The museum is an ideal place for grandparents to reminisce and for grandchildren to see how life was in their grandparents' day.

Iford Manor and the Peto Garden
Famous for its tranquil beauty this award-winning Grade I Italian-style garden was the home of architect and landscape gardener Harold Peto from 1899-1933. Unique and romantic, this hillside garden is characterised by steps, terraces, sculpture and magnificent rural views. Children under 10 free.

Lydiard House and Park
Lydiard Park is a beautiful, historic park. The elegant state rooms of the Palladian house, containing original family furnishings and portraits, and the 18th century walled garden are open all year round. With special events, children’s play area, café and extensive grounds to explore.

Stourhead House and Garden
Stourhead House and Garden is the perfect day out for everyone. A breathtaking 18th century landscape garden with lakeside walks, grottoes and classical temples is only the beginning. From March to October you can visit Stourhead House. Or why not climb to the top of King Alfred’s Tower, for amazing vistas.

Three miles west of Salisbury within the grounds of Wilton House, stands a large adventure playground.  With separate areas for toddlers and older children, this wooden structure provides a fun day out for all ages.  Set within the parkland grounds of the House, day and season tickets are available.  Nearby restaurant and picnic areas.
