About Us
VisitWiltshire is a business led and partner based organisation, responsible for promoting Wiltshire by raising awareness and in doing so attracting more visitors and guests who stay longer, spend more and recommend the county to other potential visitors. VisitWiltshire is the official Local Visitor Economy Partnership Organisation for Wiltshire.
We provide services and expertise that supports the performance and growth of approximately 400 VisitWiltshire tourism partners from all sectors of the visitor economy, across the whole of Wiltshire and beyond. These include online and offline marketing, National Campaigns, Group and Travel Trade, high profile PR coverage, as well as business support including partner business services, regular industry e-news, advice, research and industry insight, advocacy, training opportunities and networking events.
Operating under an entirely private sector board of senior tourism specialists, the team continues to attract more partners and income channels in order to grow Wiltshire’s visitor economy – which generates £1.5billion in visitor spend from 20million visitors per annum, supporting 29,000 jobs.
