Visual Music Painting Workshop

In this workshop Helen will take you on an experimental journey from the origin of Visual Music theory and sensory perception of Synaesthesia, to creating a Visual Music Painting.

You will be introduced to the 20th century artists like Wassily Kandinsky, František Kupka, and Paul Klee, and colour scale theories. Through step-by-step tuition you will develop painting and mark-making techniques and a new way of listening to music to create your own sound painting.

All materials provided. Participants are required to bring a mobile phone or MP3 player and headphones.
