Fair Isle Knitting

The lovely Millie Furby from The Slipped Stitch will be here introducing you to the pleasure of Fair Isle knitting in the round.

During the session you will learn about:

knitting in the round
magic loop knitting
reading a Fair Isle chart
tension with Fair Isle knitting
holding and carrying your yarn
We will have lots of yarn oddments you can use, but feel free to bring your own. You will also need either a set of 20cm DPNs or a 40cm circular needles in sizes 3.25 & 4mm.

The session runs from 10am – 2pm with a half-hour lunch break and costs £30. Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided but you will need to provide your own lunch.
