During these sessions we will experiment with lo-fi methods inside and outside the darkroom as we look at ways of greening photography practice. Using eco, plant derived substitutes for traditional darkroom chemicals, we'll explore ways of developing old film stock and fixing negatives. We will also use camera-less photographic techniques, make various light sensitive emulsions and coat our own paper to make anthotypes. There will be chances to experiment with camera obscurers, pinholes and contact printing too. Join us for an adventure in low impact analogue photography! The sessions can be tailored to a mixed ability group so don't worry if you don't have dark room experience, get in touch via DM or email with any questions or to book a place.
The cost is £25 per session
The sessions are weekly in term time, currently you can book individual one-off sessions.
