Mighty Girls CIC is pleased to announce How Do I Spell Feminism, a free week long exhibition at The Old Town Hall as part of the venue’s International Women’s Day celebrations. Running from 2–7 March 2026, the exhibition showcases powerful creative work by girls and young women from Trowbridge and Melksham, presented alongside selected photographs by documentary photographer and long standing Mighty Girls collaborator Ila Cooper.
Meet the Team on Saturday 7 March
Visitors are warmly invited to meet members of the Mighty Girls team and photographer Ila Cooper in the exhibition space on Saturday 7 March, when they will be present from 9:30–14:30 to discuss the work, the workshops and the stories behind the images. They will also be running some free art activities.
Part of a Wider International Women’s Day Celebration
How Do I Spell Feminism is part of a broader programme of International Women’s Day activity at The Old Town Hall. While the exhibition is free to attend, the wider programme includes a number of ticketed events including Belly Dance taster sessions with Wafaa Powell and a film screening of Sisters with Transistors. Further details can be found on the Trowbridge Town Hall website.
