Midsummer Festival

About

The Trowbridge Midsummer Festival is a free event. Trowbridge Town Council, in collaboration with Trowbridge Town Hall Trust, is thrilled to announce this year's lineup for the Trowbridge Midsummer Festival and is excited to bring the community together for a day of celebration and entertainment.
The Trowbridge Midsummer Festival is back with a bang, promising a day filled with thrilling performances and family-friendly activities. From interactive theatre to circus acts and live music, the festival has something for everyone to enjoy.

During the daytime, families can immerse themselves in the world of interactive theatre with captivating performances such as "The Dragon Wagon" by Jelly Fish Theatre, a joyful tale of friendship and dragons suitable for all ages. Familia De La Noche presents "Frogs in Bogs," a hilarious show featuring superhero frog plumbers on a mission to defeat evil. Meanwhile, The Last Baguette brings "Bin Rat," a feral family show exploring our relationship with waste in a fun and engaging way.

SASS Events adds to the excitement with a lineup of circus acts and entertainment, including a stilt walker, aerial silks, bubbleologists, and more. Attendees can also enjoy the day with face painting and participate in circus workshops suitable for kids and adults alike.

New to this year's festival is the Celebrate Community Stage. This will be a vibrant hub of exciting local talent, performed throughout the afternoon. This stage serves as a melting pot of diverse voices and musical styles, where an array of performers from the community come together to captivate audiences with their performances. The full lineup is yet to be confirmed, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!

Festival goers can feast throughout the day and evening on an array of culinary delights, including world cuisine and locally brewed beers and ales. Additionally, the festival will have artisan stalls showcasing unique handmade crafts and products, as well as a vibrant Vegan Events in the South West | Vegan Fairs market catering to plant-based enthusiasts.

As the sun sets, the evening performances kick off with musical acts that promise to enchant audiences. Renewal Choir, a community gospel choir from Bristol, is back and will deliver soul-stirring performances, while Daisy Chapman, a talented singer-songwriter and pianist, will captivate with her unforgettable melodies. Franki Soul will bring high energy and charisma to the stage, ensuring an evening filled with great music and memorable moments.

Not to be missed is The Entitled Sons, a sensational family band from Somerset whose electrifying performances have been making waves in the music scene. With a string of successes and heartfelt music, The Entitled Sons is set to deliver an unforgettable performance at the festival.

We are seeking vibrant, delicious, and local food and drink traders and local produce and market traders to be a part of the Midsummer Festival.
