A private stand alone cottage, if you don’t want to share facilities then this exclusive village cottage will be for you. Coachmans Cottage is an independent family owned business. When you make your booking it is directly with us, with no added fees. We live next door to Coachmans, and have been welcoming guests for 14 years. Our guests get the personal service, you are a Real Person and not a number.
Enter the immaculate cottage through the pretty private enclosed courtyard, perfect for alfresco dining.
The hall gives access to all of the rooms, and has a built-in cupboard ideal for outside clothing.
The spacious 18’ sitting/dining room has an easy to use log effect fire, comfortable quality sofas, a flat screen digital freeview TV, DVD player, and digital radio. WiFi no extra charge. There is a good selection of books, magazines, DVD’s, CD’s, and games.
The 16’ Master Bedroom has the choice of a 6’ Super King Bed or 3' Twin Beds. This room has a TV and clock radio.
The cosy Second Standard Double Bedroom has Velux roof window.
Both bedrooms have superbly comfortable beds, fitted wardrobes, chests of drawers, bedside tables with lamps. All beds are made up with crisp cotton bed linen, duvets and there are extra blankets for cooler winter nights. Hair dryers and torches.
Bathroom with W.C., wash basin, bath with power shower over. Bath and hand towels, bathrobes and toiletries are provided.
The small, separate, but fully equipped galley kitchen has an oven, ceramic hob, fridge with ice box, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, ample cooking utensils. Tea towel, towel and oven gloves.
Coachmans Cottage is located in a quiet lane just off the village green and next and to our own home. A traditional English pub, serves good food, only 100 meters down the High Street. Just beyond the pub is the award winning village shop and coffee bar, run by villagers. The magnificent St Mary’s Church is only a short walk in the opposite direction. You cannot fail to be charmed by this beautiful and friendly village.

From M4 jct 17 take the A350 south for 15 miles. Steeple Ashton is 3 miles south of Trowbridge off the A350. Continue into the village centre. Turn left at the green into Dark Lane north leading into Vicarage Lane.
