About

The Hall Estate offers a truly unique stay within a magnificent Grade I-listed Jacobean mansion, set in the heart of historic Bradford on Avon, just 10 minutes from Bath. With over 400 years of history, this remarkable estate provides an intimate and characterful alternative to traditional hotels, combining heritage, elegance, and exclusivity.

Accommodation is offered across three beautifully appointed en-suite guest rooms, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the history and charm of the house while providing modern comfort. Guests can stay in refined surroundings, including the distinguished Moulton Room, once the private quarters of pioneering engineer Dr Alex Moulton. With limited rooms available, every stay feels personal, peaceful, and immersed in history.

The Hall Estate is ideally suited for guests seeking a distinctive and memorable experience. It appeals to couples looking for a romantic countryside escape, history enthusiasts eager to step inside one of England’s finest Jacobean houses, and individuals wanting a quiet retreat away from busy, commercial environments. It is also well suited to those with an appreciation for heritage, architecture, and British innovation, as well as visitors attending local events or exploring the wider Wiltshire and Bath area.

Beyond the accommodation, guests are invited to explore seven acres of private historic grounds, offering a tranquil setting for walks, reflection, and relaxation.

Whether you are seeking history, tranquillity, or a unique place to stay, The Hall Estate offers an experience unlike any other—where heritage and hospitality come together in an extraordinary setting.
