About

Nestled in the scenic village of Hindon, just off the A303, The Grosvenor Arms is perfect for relaxing getaways, walking, and exploring historic sites.

Each of the nine en-suite letting rooms are decorated and furnished individually, yet in keeping with the pub’s historical charm. The rooms are split between the main inn and the courtyard rooms, with seven tucked away under the eaves upstairs. You’ll find each bedroom to be cosy and comfortable, with a mix of eclectic art, antique furniture, pretty fabrics, and luxurious toiletries from sustainable brand Land&Water. Guests are encouraged to experience the warmth of a busy country inn downstairs, before retiring upstairs at the end of the night. A plentiful breakfast is waiting in the morning with fresh fruit and pastries, turmeric shots, Bloody Marys and a full (or half) English Breakfast.

In the winter, perch up next to a roaring fire under flickering candlelight or in summer, soak up the rays on the sun-drenched terrace. The menu changes with the seasons and champions local ingredients and suppliers but you'll always find old classics sitting pride of place, like wonderfully large handmade pies, or fish and chips with catches from Brixham. All dietary needs are taken into account too. Friday nights bring an extra buzz as nole pizza draws in the crowds. Expect interesting toppings and saucy dips.

Despite the remote and tranquil location, there’s still an abundance of local attractions for guests to explore including Stonehenge, Old Wardour Castle and Stourhead House & Gardens, making the Grosvenor Arms the perfect pit-stop for those looking for both adventure and relaxation.
