Experience a romantic ‘The Holiday’ style getaway at one of our country cottages

The Holiday, starring Kate Winslet and Jude Law, is a Christmas favourite and gets you in the mood for the Christmas festivities ahead. The countryside cottage in the film is reminiscent of some of our own picture perfect cottages in the county. Spoiler alert the cottage was made on set, so here are some alternatives!

Troutbeck Guest House in East Chisenbury is in a rural English countryside location, with luxurious furnishings and bathtub that is every bit as beautiful to the one in the film. It’s a great place for a timeless winter escape.

An alternative is the award-winning Manor Farm B&B in Collingbourne Kingston. It is no surprise to hear that the traditional farmhouse, has recently been awarded the Eviivo outstanding host of 2017; so you can be assured that you will feel right at home here!
