About
Visitors are invited to enjoy the Easter holidays at the American Museum & Gardens with a range of family-friendly activities taking place from 3–19 April, 10am–5pm. Set among the museum's historic gardens and grounds, there'll be outdoor trails, creative activities and seasonal experiences for children and families throughout the school holidays.
The Great Garden Hunt takes place daily, inviting families to explore the gardens in search of ten brightly decorated bird tables, each home to a numbered Easter egg. Participants can follow the trail, record their discoveries on a trail sheet and collect a small prize once all the eggs have been found.
A special Easter Sunday egg hunt will also take place in the gardens when the grounds open at 10am on Sunday 5th. A collection of Easter eggs will be hidden across the gardens for visitors to discover throughout the morning.
Visitors can also enjoy Easter-themed craft activities in the Coach House, explore the America 250 family trail inside the Manor House, and discover the exhibition Kith & Kin: the Quilts of Gee's Bend. The gardens will be in spring bloom and enjoy a woodland walk and the climb-and-slide children's play area, while seasonal treats will be available in the American Deli.
