On Saturday 4th June, Warminster Town Council will be running a Queen's Platinum Jubilee Bake Off Competition which is open to all ages. The theme is 'Queen's Platinum Jubilee' and there is no limit on cake size or type. You could bake a cake in the shape of a crown or corgi, add Union flags to purple cupcakes or utilise the number 70 (see picture). The possibilities are endless!
There are three categories: Junior (9-12 years old), Young Person (13-16 years old) and Adult (17+ years old).
Among the competition judges will be Angela and Jemma from Bo & Co Coffee Garden. The highest scored bakers will win a Queen's Platinum Jubilee baking trophy and each age category will have a 'Star Baker' that will receive a commemorative wooden spoon.
Please contact Warminster Civic Centre for an entry form or download a form from the Warminster Town Council website. Completed entry forms are to be returned to Warminster Civic Centre by 15:00 on Tuesday 24th May. Entry forms can be posted or emailed to civiccentre@warminster-tc.go.uk
