Steeple Ashton Charity Valuation Day

About

Dore and Rees Auctioneers of Frome bring ANTIQUES ROADSHOW EXPERTS Marc Allum, Lisa Lloyd and Lee Young to Appraise and Value Antiques and Collectables at the Steeple Ashton Charity Valuation Day. Thursday 25th June 2026, 10.00 am - 4.00 pm.
These well known experts, all familiar faces on the ever popular BBC Antiques Roadshow will examine your valuables and items of interest, including fine jewellery, porcelain, ceramics, watches, militaria, Chinese and Japanese art, and rare collectibles. All items seen - put their knowledge to the test! There will also be a small classic car section on site, as both Marc and Lee are keen enthusiasts.
Discretionary donations for item or groups of items appraised.
Enjoy a simple cold lunch, home-made cakes with tea and coffee, overlooking the far reaching views of beautiful Wiltshire farmland. Licensed bar available.
Raising funds to transform the former, somewhat tired Football and Playing Field into a vibrant area to suit villagers of all generations. You could even have a game of boules while you are here.
Dore and Rees, established in Frome 1868, counts more BBC Antiques Roadshow specialists in their team than any other British auctioneers, offering a market leading service in Asian art, classic motoring, jewellery, silver, watches, interiors and rare antiquities. Find out more at www.doreandrees.com or call 01373 462 257
Steeple Ashton is a leading Wiltshire conservation village, with the old village boasting the highest density of listed properties. Well worth a visit is the magnificent St Mary's Church, the church flower ladies will be preparing the blooms for the wedding of a local villager. Stroll around the lanes and take in The Longs, an old Coaching Inn, and the community Village Shop.
The Steeple Ashton Recreation and Community Development Group. Charity Number 1131674.
