Get ready for an unforgettable day out as Summer at the Base returns on Saturday 22 August, from 12–4pm!

Join us on the front lawn of our operational airbase for a fun-packed afternoon with a truly unique backdrop. You'll enjoy prime views of our helipad and helicopter (subject to lifesaving operations), giving you a rare glimpse into the incredible work our crew do every day as they respond to emergency missions.

What's in store?

Fun-filled activities: bounce, climb and play with a bouncy castle, inflatable assault course, giant games, circus skills and much more!
Meet our mascots: say hello and snap a photo with our much-loved mascots pilot Marsha and paramedic Wilber
CPR demonstrations: meet our expert team and learn simple skills that could help save a life.
Games and prizes: try your luck at our ever-popular tombola for the chance to win exciting prizes. (Cash recommended for games.)
In addition, don't miss out on our ever-popular merchandise, fabulous offerings from our charity shop and a wide range of local traders who will be listed below once confirmed.
Food stalls: refuel with tasty burgers, delicious baked treats, hot drinks, ice cream, and a fully licensed bar.
