Opening with Brahm's Hungarian Dance No 5, TSO's principal cellist is stepping further into the limelight in this concert as he performs the ever-popular Dvorak Cello Concerto. The concert closes with Brahms' Second Symphony, possibly his most lyrical, full of memorable themes.
