Volunteer Open Day

Scots Lane Club opened in March 2023 to provide a stimulating day out for people in the early to mid-stages of dementia. It's a warm, lively space run by award-winning Wiltshire charity Alzheimer's Support. The club is now full but we need more volunteers to help make the day go with a swing!

Volunteers ideally join us for a day or half day each week so they get to know members well.
As a Scots Lane volunteer you'll be chatting to people, leading small group activities from jigsaws to quizzes or crafts and helping to serve refreshments. We're looking for people who are fun, friendly, and want to help people have a great day out with us. No prior care experience is needed as we will provide dementia awareness training.
