Last weekend we welcomed Mark MacDivitt (@_mrmphotography) to takeover our Instagram account.

During the takeover we journeyed through Wiltshire through Mark's eyes. From snowy scenic countryside, to sharing some of his favourite places in Wiltshire it was fascinating to see his vision of this wonderful county.

Scroll on to see some of his fantastic photos taken over the weekend...

Avebury‘This place has a lot of memories for me, My Grandparents lived in the Village for 50yrs, so as children we spent a lot of time In and around the village and amongst the Stones, which are 1of2 world famous stone circles found in our beautiful county.’

Lacock - ‘A trip to Lacock Village is spectacular in itself, so being Home to Lacock Abbey, Made famous for its film set of Harry Potter(see next post for the famous cloisters) and the Museum of Fox Talbot, showing the history of photography (inside the National Trust shop) makes it an even more enjoyable visit.’

Silbury Hill - ‘Ending the night with a Night shot of Silbury Hill. This prehistoric man made mound is the largest in Europe. So if you’ve take the time to view my Insta feed you will know I absolutely love Night Photography, so it’s only fitting I post one tonight.’

Corsham - ‘Corsham Court around the lakes. A beautiful place for walking the dogs, admiring the lake and it’s resident bird population.’

Longleat - ‘Not every day you get to drive around and be close to the Big Cats, Hand feed the Deer or put your car at risk with the Monkeys. This is the view of Longleat Manor on as you enter the enter the Park.’

Roundway Down -Most of Wiltshire’s landscape are overlooked by hills. Whether it’s Cherhill, Westbury, Pewsey, The Ridgeway and so on, my Favourite is Roundway. An old Hill Fort which hosts some beautiful lonely trees.’
