Longleat’s Sky Safari: 8th-10th September
Returning this September, the biggest annual gathering of balloons in the UK! Longleat’s spectacular Sky Safari showcases a wonderful display of hot air balloons as they take the skies over the estate. Led by Longleat’s very own lion shaped balloon, expect to see a whole range of special animal shapes, from koalas to wolves, parrots, and owls!
Bradford on Avon Walking Festival: 1st-3rd September
Organised by Bradford on Avon Walkers are Welcome, enjoy a 3-day walking festival across the historic market town. Featuring 15 walks suitable for all ages and abilities, with several themed around Bradford on Avon’s industrial heritage, discover a rich history whilst exploring stunning autumn surroundings this season!
Discovery Walks: Every Saturday until 30th September

Head just outside the Wiltshire borders, to Westonbirt Arboretum, for their weekly Discovery Walks. Explore some of the most breath-taking displays of rich autumn colour as you embark on adventure through paths less travelled and delve deeper into Westonbirt’s captivating trees.
Heritage Open Days at Kelmscott Manor: 9th September
Join Kelmscott Manor as they hold their very first Heritage Open Day! This year’s theme is ‘Creativity Unwrapped’ and will not only allow you to explore the Manor House for free but will also feature a host of additional activities including craft workshops, creative trails and more!
Sci Fi Day at REME Museum: 9th September
After a successful year, Sci Fi Day returns at REME Museum, bringing the amazing world and its multiple universes to life at the museum! Featuring memorabilia from the likes of Star Wars, Dr Who, Red Dwarf and more, enjoy a fantastical atmosphere dressing up with fans, friends, and family.
Swindon Railway Festival: 9th-10th September

Taste Salisbury: 28th September-3rd October
