About

Dining at The Three Daggers

Nestled in the picturesque village of Edington, just beneath the edge of Salisbury Plain, The Three Daggers invites you on a culinary journey rooted in the landscapes of Wiltshire. The Three Daggers was named England’s Pub of the Year by the AA in 2020 and has held 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence for the past four years. Expect seasonal, locally sourced menus inspired by the surrounding countryside with many ingredients coming straight from our Priory Farm, just a short walk from the pub. With fewer food miles and fresher produce, the farm-to-fork ethos here means quality you can really taste.

Our own Priory Farm is just a short stroll from the pub. Many of the herbs, vegetables and seasonal produce you’ll find in our kitchen are grown there. Any ingredients we don’t grow ourselves, we partner with neighbouring Wiltshire growers, foragers and local producers.

Breakfast

Breakfast at The Three Daggers is all about starting the day right — relaxed, welcoming, and full of local flavour. For some, that means a proper Full English with free-range eggs, sausages, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and our own freshly baked bread. Others keep it lighter with smashed avocado on sourdough and a good coffee, while those after something different often go for our short rib and chorizo crumpet, a real favourite.

See our menu here.

Whether it’s after the school run, a countryside dog walk, or a browse in our farm shop, breakfast here always feels like a little reward.

Light Lunch at The Three Daggers

Our light lunch menu, served Monday to Friday, is designed for when you want something fresh and satisfying without being heavy. You might find a crisp seasonal salad, a comforting bowl of soup, or our pub favourite, ale-battered fish and chips. And of course, there’s always room for a little indulgence, whether that’s sticky toffee pudding or a board of cheese with chutney. It’s the kind of lunch that makes a quick break feel like something special.

Available from Monday to Friday 12pmto 3pm 1 course£16 / 2 courses£22 / 3 courses£28. Book here.

A la carte and Sundays

The à la carte menu, served Monday to Saturday, is where our chefs really show their creativity from beautifully fresh fish dishes to bold flavours like our Korean fried chicken burger, alongside timeless favourites such as fish and chips. Desserts are just as tempting, whether you’re in the mood for rich chocolate cheesecake or something light and seasonal. It’s a menu that celebrates great ingredients and a little imagination, all in the relaxed setting of a proper country pub.

Sundays at The Three Daggers are all about big flavours and generous plates. Think perfectly roasted meats, fluffy Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes and rich gravy poured just the way you like it. It’s a Sunday roast done properly, hearty, satisfying and impossible to resist.

Book here.

Home Comfort specials

And then there’s the charm of our weekday Home Comfort Special, offered Monday through Thursday in the evening. Our chefs create dishes inspired by the kind of cooking that makes you feel at home. One night it might be a slow-braised pie with buttery mash, another evening a hearty stew, always using the finest local produce and our farm’s freshest ingredients. These plates aren’t just about eating well, they’re about the warmth of familiarity, elevated by our chefs.

Check our website to see this week’s home comfort special.
