Wiltshire Showcase & Familiarisation Visit
The Wiltshire Familiarisation Visit and Wiltshire Showcase event is open to coach operators, tour operators, DMCs, group travel organisers and the trade press.
FAMILIARISATION VISIT - Wednesday 3 & Thursday 4 March 2027
Experience Wiltshire for yourself with a familiarisation visit, designed to improve your product knowledge and give you a taste of what Wiltshire has to offer. VisitWiltshire are working in partnership with tourism businesses, towns and villages offering a 1 night, 2-day fam.
There are two optional Wiltshire Fam visit itineraries to choose from:
- Literary, Film & TV Locations including visits to Wiltshire’s popular on-screen market towns and villages.
- Historic Wiltshire – includes industrial heritage, World Heritage sites and historic landscapes
Both itineraries start around 10am from Swindon Railway station on Wednesday 3 March, with dinner and accommodation in the Salisbury area.

WILTSHIRE SHOWCASE IN CORSHAM - Thursday 4 March 2027
Fam visit attendees will spend the morning exploring Salisbury’s Cathedral Close, before being transferred to Corsham.
All buyers attending on the day will be taken on a guided walking tour of the town to see the high street, famous for featuring in Poldark and Jilly Cooper’s Rivals, Corsham Court, Almshouse and Schoolroom. Plus, new FIT accommodation run by the Beckford group and if you’re lucky enough, you may see the resident peacocks. A buffet lunch will follow.
In the afternoon, at the Town Hall, they’ll be an opportunity to meet a range of trade-focused Wiltshire attractions, accommodation providers, tours and transport suppliers. The exhibition-style event with informal 1:1 meetings will enable you to discover new products & experiences and make valuable connections for future bookings.
ATTENDANCE FOR THE DAY IS FREE OF CHARGE.
