About

Set in the rural countryside of Wiltshire, just 5 miles from the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge, the delightful, self-catering Waterlake Cottage is surrounded by open fields and is a perfect base for exploring the Wiltshire countryside. Situated along a country track, just outside the village of Orcheston, the accommodation is for 4 guests plus one cotbed.

Waterlake Cottage is on ground level and offers a spacious lounge, with open log fire, large well equipped fully fitted kitchen/dining table/area, two bedrooms - one master bedroom with double bed, en-suite shower/toilet/sink and heated towel rail, and a bedroom with two single beds, which has it's own separate bathroom adjacent, with bath, sink and toilet.

Outside there is a private south facing garden with patio, lawn, shrubs and garden furniture, BBQ. On site parking for 2 cars. Undercover and lockable area for bikes. Free WI-FI.

All bed linen, towels, hot/cold water, electric, heating by night storage/convectors, logs and high-chair/cot are included in the price. A "Welcome Tray" of refreshments will be in the cottage on arrival.

Road Directions

Waterlake Cottage is situated just off the A360. Coming from Heathrow/Gatwick/London, join the M25 going SouthWest. Leave at J12 to join M3 to Southampton. At J8 leave M3 to join A303 Salisbury/Andover. Continue on A303 past Amesbury. At the next roundabout (Longbarrow) take the A360 to Shrewton/Devizes. Go through the village of Shrewton, up the hill, turn right at Orcheston signpost. At the crossroads turn right towards Elston. Continue round over the small bridge. Just before the brow of the hill, turn left (Waterlake sign) down the track; Waterlake Cottage is the first on the right, adjacent to Waterlake View.

Train: Waterloo to SalisburyBus: No 2 from Salisbury to Orcheston (bus stop in Fisherton Street, under the railway bridge, just outside the station).
