About

Cranborne Chase Escapes offers premium e-bike adventures across one of Wiltshire’s most beautiful landscapes: the Cranborne Chase National Landscape. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed half-day ride, a scenic pub-to-pub route, or a multi-day countryside escape, our e-bikes make it easy to explore quiet villages, hidden valleys and big open skies at your own pace.

We provide two types of high-quality Orbea e-bikes to suit different styles of riding. Our Orbea Kemen models are perfect for quiet lanes, gravel tracks and relaxed countryside touring, offering comfort and stability throughout the day. For riders who want something a little more capable off-road, our Orbea Rise lightweight e-mountain bikes are ideal for chalk tracks, woodland byways and the sweeping ridge lines of the Chase.

Our e-mountain bikes are lighter and more natural-feeling than “full-fat” versions, which means they provide support but still rely on your own pedalling. They’re suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness, and most guests find they can comfortably ride much further - and enjoy more of the views - than they would on a regular bike. If you can cycle for an hour or two at home, you’ll be absolutely fine here!

Visitors can choose between self-guided hire or guided rides. Self-guided hire includes route suggestions tailored to the distance, terrain and time you prefer, as well as local tips for viewpoints, pubs, picnic spots and wildlife. These rides can last anywhere from a couple of hours to a full day, with plenty of chances to stop, explore and enjoy the landscape.

Our guided rides are a popular choice for visitors who want local knowledge, scenic routes and a relaxed, friendly pace. Guided experiences typically last from two to four hours, and are suitable for individuals, couples, families and small groups. We take care of the route, the planning and the timing, so you can simply enjoy the ride and the views.

For those looking for a longer adventure, we also offer multi-day rides, with routes linking some of Wiltshire’s most inviting pubs, villages and countryside stays. Luggage transfer between accommodations can be arranged, allowing you to travel light and enjoy a proper sense of journey through the landscape.

Whether you’re exploring Wiltshire for the first time or rediscovering it from a new perspective, Cranborne Chase Escapes is all about making countryside adventure easy, memorable and accessible to all.
