About

Getting from Salisbury to Stonehenge has never been easier or more enjoyable. The Salisbury to Stonehenge Shuttle is a dedicated shuttle service connecting Salisbury city centre directly to the gates of Stonehenge, with no changes, no waiting in queues for public transport, and no need to hire a car.

What We Offer
Our Salisbury to Stonehenge shuttle runs daily throughout the season, departing from Caboose on South Western Road in Salisbury city centre, and dropping passengers directly at Stonehenge. Every seat is reserved, so you travel in comfort knowing your place is guaranteed.

Before you board, make use of our free luggage storage facility, ideal if you are travelling with bags and want to explore Stonehenge hands free. The return journey is equally straightforward; simply reboard at Stonehenge when you are ready and we will bring you back to Salisbury at your leisure. We operate a flexible return policy, meaning you are never rushed. Stay as long as you wish and catch a later shuttle back.

The experience aboard the shuttle is crafted to complement your visit. Passengers receive helpful tips about Stonehenge, nearby walking routes, and the wider Wiltshire landscape, turning the journey itself into part of the adventure.

Who Is It Suitable For?
The Salisbury to Stonehenge shuttle is ideal for independent travellers, families, couples, and solo adventurers who want a stress free, affordable way to reach one of the world's most iconic landmarks. It is particularly well suited to visitors staying in Salisbury who do not have access to a vehicle, as well as international tourists arriving by train who want to make the most of their time without the hassle of navigating rural Wiltshire on their own.

The service is accessible and welcoming for all ages. Whether you are visiting Stonehenge for the first time or returning to explore the surrounding landscape in more depth, our shuttle removes the logistical barriers so you can focus on the experience.

How Long Does It Last?
The shuttle journey from Salisbury to Stonehenge takes approximately 30 minutes each way. Most visitors spend between 1.5 and 3 hours at Stonehenge itself, making for a comfortable half day excursion. For those wishing to combine the visit with time exploring Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum, or the city's medieval streets, a full day works beautifully and our flexible return tickets make that easy to plan.

Tickets are £15 per person return. Book online at salisburytostonehenge.com for instant confirmation.
