About
Roly’s Fudge Pantry in Salisbury, opened by former food journalists and PRs Sarah Orton & Steven Jones is a beautiful traditional fudge pantry, leading into Salisbury Cathedral via the historic archway. The panty is proving a wonderful magnet for tourists and locals alike as each batch of fudge is made in giant copper cauldrons in the shop window and then poured out onto a marble slab, before being turned into dramatic metre-long logs of freshly made fudge. The visual spectacle is matched by an equally lovely and enticing aroma emanating from the pantry.
Using a secret recipe, Roly’s Fudge Pantry Salisbury uses only traditional methods and natural ingredients to produce its mouth-watering fudge. Known for its fabulous crumbly texture and authentic taste, Roly’s Fudge has a nationwide following with Salisbury being the 25th Roly’s pantry to open in the UK.
Beyond its best selling Vanilla Clotted Cream and hugely popular Butterscotch, Chocolate, Maple & Walnut and Rum ‘n Raisin, the Salisbury pantry stocks more than 10 flavours at any one time on its counter, with delicious seasonal favourites from Christmas Pudding to Hot Cross Bun fudge. It also produces a wide array of beautifully wrapped gift boxes and bags for seasonal gifts from birthdays, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, through to Christmas and Easter gifts, which can all be posted anywhere in the UK.
The pantry has already catered for a number of corporate events and offers a bespoke Wedding Favours service. Sarah and Steven can provide anything from an entire 10kg log of fudge for a spectacular centre-piece, or individual favours colour-matched to a wedding theme. We also host private events where parties of up to 15 adults can come and enjoy a private viewing of our fudge pouring ritual and enjoy some quiet evening shopping.
The pantry has just produced a range of £5 & £10 Gift Vouchers and it will offer a range of Purbeck Ice Cream this summer – topped with delicious fudge crumbs.
