About

Pull on your walking boots and take part in Alzheimer's Support's A Walk to Remember on Saturday 14th September. The sponsored walk is a memorable day out for the whole family, and an important fundraiser for the Wiltshire charity.
There are two circular walks to choose from, both within the beautiful grounds of Wilton House. The longer walk is five miles and there is also the accessible one-mile route.
The day starts with bacon or veggie butties then, after a fun group warm-up, we head out into the estate. Everyone walks at their own pace so you can stride ahead or take things gently. Our post-walk celebrations include medals for all the finishers, commemorative photos, live music, plenty of tea and cake and chance to relax with other walkers.
Please sign up and join us in September - you'll have a great day out and be walking for dementia with every step.
Why walk for dementia? Alzheimer's Support is Wiltshire's own dementia charity. We provide support that makes a huge difference to the lives of people living with all types of dementia and to their families. Our services include award-winning day clubs, one-to-one home support, dementia advisers and a wide range of activity groups including dementia choirs, art, exercise and outdoor groups. Keeping active, feeling supported, informed and together with others makes living with dementia so much easier for the whole family.
Please walk with us on 14th September, it's a great day out for a brilliant cause.
