Exploring the story of Ceres, the Roman goddess of the growth of food plants, DOCA is working in partnership with Baseline Circus and Full Tilt Aerial Theatre, to develop an exciting large scale community engagement production for 2022 (funding pending). These free workshops (booking essential) are a little step in the process - whether you want to be involved later or not, the workshops will be one whole lot of fun packed creativity. Physical Theatre Workshops - A lighthearted get yourself moving session with mix and match techniques from Theatre, Circus and Dance.
Traditional Corn Crafting - Get stuck in and crafty making a beautiful piece of corn art. Remember Corn Dollies? That's where you'll be heading!
Costume Making - Join in making a large-scale costume – an otherworldly creature - who knows where the limits lie?

You'll be learning skills from accomplished theatre makers, visual artists and craftspeople. The workshops are suitable for ages from 12 +. Come along and unleash your creativity!
