Immerse yourself in reduction linocut printmaking at my next 2-day weekend course in Rowde, near Devizes, Wiltshire. Learn how to carve a single block to create multi-layered, colourful prints, while mastering the technical skills that bring your design to life.

Over two days, you'll explore:

Safe carving and reduction techniques for multi-layered linocuts
Registering prints for accurate multi-layer alignment
Using a relief Albion press for professional-quality printing
Handprinting techniques to refine control and texture
Ink mixing for creating custom colours and tonal effects
The course balances practical skill-building with creative freedom, encouraging experimentation with colour, texture, and composition. By the end of the weekend, you'll leave with completed reduction linocut prints, confident in both handprinting and press techniques, and equipped to continue creating at home.

Dates & Times: Saturday 28th March 2026 10am - 5pm & Sunday 29th March 10am - 5pm.

You don't need to bring anything except:

An apron/old clothes (it can get a little inky!)
Any sketches or photos you'd like to use for inspiration (these must be your own and not copies)
All printmaking materials and tools will be provided.

Refreshments: Tea, coffee and biscuits are always provided. There will be time for short breaks and a lunch break during the sessions. *Please note - the Café is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays*

Free Parking: available nearby, and the venue is fully accessible. If you have any specific needs, just let me know.
