Develop your creativity and drawing skills in my next 5-week Sketchbook Course in Rowde, near Devizes, Wiltshire. Designed for beginners and those looking to refresh or expand their drawing practice, this course focuses on building confidence, exploring techniques, and developing a personal visual language through your sketchbook.

Over five weeks, you'll explore:

- Observational drawing: capturing form, proportion, and perspective
- Expressive mark-making and line work
- Mixed media techniques including pencil, pen and ink
- Sketchbook development: planning compositions, layering ideas, and creative journaling
- Encouraging experimentation, reflection, and personal style.

This course offers a supportive, inspiring environment to explore ideas, take creative risks, and develop a consistent drawing practice. By the end of five weeks, you'll have a well-rounded sketchbook full of original work and the skills to continue developing your practice independently or in the studio.

Suitable for: Beginners or those wishing to expand their drawing practice
Materials: Basic materials provided; bring your own sketchbook or preferred tools if desired
Outcome: A complete sketchbook showcasing personal exploration, technique development, and creative growth

You don't need to bring anything except:

An apron/old clothes (it can get a little inky!)
Any sketches or photos you'd like to use for inspiration (these must be your own and not copies)

Refreshments: Tea, coffee and biscuits are always provided. There will be time for a short break during the session. *Please note - the Café is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays*

Free Parking: available nearby, and the venue is fully accessible. If you have any specific needs, just let me know.
