Spring Butterfly Walk in Chase Woods

Join Andrew Graham from the Butterfly Conservation on this free, 2.5 mile guided walk through picturesque Chase Woods on the Rushmore Estate.

On the walk we would hope to see around 10 species of butterfly including 3 or 4 different species of white butterfly (including the classic spring butterflies - Orange Tip and Brimstone), plus Peacock, Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell and Comma. A perfect spring walk for families or nature fans!

This walk has been organised by the Chase & Chalke Landscape Partnership and been made possible with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
