About
The famous Urchfont Scarecrow Festival, which has been running since the 1990s, is held over three days during the early May bank holiday weekend. It attracts thousands of visitors annually and is recognised as one of the biggest scarecrow festivals in the UK.
Grab a programme at the village pond and embark on the scarecrow trail through the village, as you crack the clues and match them to 56 scarecrows, all crafted by villagers. Kids can join in the fun with a special quiz featuring picture clues at each stop.
Enjoy free crafting for the children, a wide range of food and drink tents
and various activities around the village. Well-behaved owners with dogs on leads are welcomed too – water bowls are provided around the village.
This is a fabulous day out for all the family you won't want to miss.
