About

A 15th Century coaching inn that encompasses the key elements of a traditional Inn - to provide great tasting food and drink in front of large open fires with warm, homely rooms for those staying overnight.

The kitchen operates on an ethos of using the best local, seasonal produce and we encourage a relaxed, easy going atmosphere in the dining rooms, which provide the ideal place to settle in and warm up next to the open fires in the winter months. Alternatively, in the summer months, we have a beautiful cottage garden to enjoy a lunch or cream tea next to the stream.

The 5 guest rooms offer a cosy, home-from-home feel that allows you to relax and slip away from the stresses of modern life. An oak panelled sitting room, provides a great space for guests to have a drink and indulge in some good literature after a day strolling the village and the local area.

The Inn is located on the edge of the Cotswolds, in the heart of the National Trust village of Lacock. Perfectly positioned in the West Country to visit a number of sights and towns in the area. The fine city of Bath is only a short distance too, if guests wanted to see the famous Georgian architecture, browse the independent shops & boutiques and indulge in the café culture!
