We offer a range of guided tours across Wiltshire and surrounding counties taking you through 5000 years of history from Stonehenge and Avebury to sites connected with WW2.
David Hutchison is a qualified Blue Badge guide with a Cambridge degree in Archaeology, based in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Charges are per group, not per person, so the tour will be tailored to your exact requirements and changes can be made as we go along if something catches your eye. You can visit beautiful cathedrals such as Salisbury and Wells, historic cities such as Bath and Winchester, stately homes like Wilton House, and enjoy magnificent scenery in the Cotswolds and the New Forest. Or you can have a themed tour, visiting sites associated with King Arthur, Jane Austen or Thomas Hardy; or a garden tour through some of Wiltshire’s finest gardens; or a military or naval tour. You can see the story of England develop from prehistoric sites through Roman, Saxon, and Norman buildings to the Middle Ages and on into modern times. You will pass cottages with thatched roofs, beautiful village churches, and graceful mansions. You will eat in charming country pubs and experience the real England.
We can arrange transport as necessary from executive limousines to coaches according to the size of your group. We are also proud to serve those with limited mobility or special needs.
