Sound Painting Workshop

This unique and uplifting workshop is for all ages no previous art experience required.

This Sound Painting workshop will introduce participants to the theory of Synaesthesia, hearing sound and music interpretated in the form of colours line and form. After an introduction to the work of 20th Century artists, participants will experiment with drawing and mark-making techniques linked with sound using a selection of colourful art mediums. Listening to site specific recordings of acoustic instruments played in and around the natural landscape and within ancient sites, participants will create their own Sound Painting on a canvas.
