Brush Lettering for Beginners

Come along to my calligraphy studio in Salisbury and learn the art of beautiful hand-lettering. This fun workshop is suitable for anyone wanting to learn and develop their hand-lettering skills using brush pens.

We will go through the pen stroke basics before working through each letter form and learning how to join it all together to create words in your own modern italic brush script. We will also explore layouts and putting together a creative quote of your own.

Please bring a short quote with you if there's something in particular you would like to have a go at writing out, alternatively I will provide some for you to use if you wish to.

All materials will be provided for you to use on the day and you will be able to take your brush pen and practice sheets away with you to carry on practicing!
