The Laughter Lab presents…

We're thrilled to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night in the heart of Chippenham. The Laughter Lab is bringing its hugely popular comedy club experience to the Neeld Community & Arts Centre, and we're kicking things off in style with a fantastic opening show on Friday 26th June 2026.

Headlining the very first Chippenham Comedy Club is the brilliant Simon Evans. A master of sharp, intelligent stand-up, Simon is one of the UK's most respected comedians, known for his appearances on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, and as a regular voice on BBC Radio 4. With his razor-sharp wit and perfectly crafted punchlines, he's the perfect act to launch what promises to be an unforgettable new comedy night for the town.

Hosting the evening will be the hugely likeable Justin Panks, guiding the audience through the night and keeping the laughs rolling between acts. The line-up will also feature a top supporting comedian, completing a brilliant bill of live stand-up.

Chippenham Comedy Club is a mixed-bill comedy night, which means you'll experience several professional comedians performing shorter sets across the evening rather than one long show. Expect a lively night packed with big laughs, different styles of comedy, and the electric atmosphere that only live stand-up can deliver. Our MC warms up the room, introduces each act, and keeps the energy high throughout the night, building towards a headline set from one of the UK's top touring comedians.

This launch show is the beginning of something special, a brand new comedy club bringing some of the very best comedians in the country to Chippenham.
