About
Join Paul Beaver at the Army Flying Museum for 'Codename: INTREPID' to hear the incredible story of the life of Sir William Stephenson, who from humble Canadian beginnings, enlisted in the Royal Flying Corps, and rapidly moved through the ranks of the armed forces. He was a dedicated soldier, a gifted inventor, an extraordinary businessman and a spy. He eventually earned himself the codename 'Intrepid' for his immense bravery and dedication. Stephenson played a crucial role in the war efforts against Nazi Germany in WWII. He became the senior official of the British Security Coordination, ensuring that British and American intelligence was passed safely between authorities. Watch this talk in the Museum at 7pm on Wednesday 16th March with the option of a curry supper, or if you are unable to attend in person, watch live online, with the opportunity to ask questions in the Q&A. This talk will also be available to view on the Army Flying Museum's website after the event.
