For our next Collection Conversation, we will be joined by Ione Parkin and Jonathan Parnham.
Ione Parkin is developing a growing body of artwork inspired by the rich imagery of space and her ongoing dialogue with researchers. Her paintings express her fascination with the formation of the universe while her mixed-media works on paper respond to planetary surfaces, extremes of temperature and geological process.
Jonathan Parnham is an art educator and artist living in Wiltshire. Painting on location, to capture the atmosphere of each environment that he discovers, is a vital component of Jonathan's. His work is often created in variable conditions while documenting landscapes including the coastlines of Britain, Iceland, and China.
