Design an original custom hand-painted tee shirt, the perfect gift for a loved one.
Helen is a mixed media painter/textile artist/specialising in fashion and contemporary fine art painting and digital illustration. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Fine Art Painting at Winchester School of Art in 2005. Helen works from her studio at Fisherton Mill where you can purchase her upcycled clothing/accessories and paintings.
In this workshop you will create your own unique hand painted tee shirt design through experimenting with a variety of techniques including the use of stencils, stamp printing and hand-painting with different size brushes. The tee shirt paint we use is machine washable and tee shirts are provided. You are also welcome to bring one of you own tee shirts or pair of jeans to upcycle if you wish. Helen will provide some imagery to give you inspiration.
