About

Bayeux Around Britain, supported by WorldQuant.
This selection of objects from Wiltshire Museum's collection, alongside printed replica sections of the Bayeux Tapestry and digital assets from the British Museum is part of the nationwide Bayeux Around Britain programme.

Highlighting the significance of the Bayeux Tapestry coming back to the UK, Wiltshire Museum is one of 70 partner organisations across the country to tell the story of the tapestry and the history surrounding the Norman invasion.
The display will feature replica sections of the tapestry, alongside coins and artefacts from across Wiltshire.
