'My favourite time of the week'

A chance to indulge, draw and to practice some essential drawing skills in a beautiful environment, guided by someone with over 25 years teaching experience. You'll use a diverse range of styles and techniques that stretch you and keep you motivated to improve.

All while enjoying fresh coffee and meeting some other lovely local artists.

Life Drawing is challenging and rewarding, but like drawing anything else, it takes practice and patience.

The best way to encourage practice is to vary the media and techniques available; to make sure this is feasible, we provide materials (donations welcome) This also allows more confidence as using expensive personal materials tends to inhibit experimentation.

Sometimes the session is devoted to a worksheet-style drawing, using many poses on one sheet in different materials. These are a great opportunity to gain confidence in composition, materials and mark-making.

£105 for 6 x 2 hour session term or £20 cash drop-in option (just for our life drawing sessions)
