Explore the exciting possibilities of mixed media printmaking in this 6-week course in Rowde, near Devizes, Wiltshire. Designed for beginners and experienced artists alike, this course encourages experimentation with a range of printmaking techniques, materials, and processes to develop a personal and creative approach to making prints.

Over six weeks, you'll explore:

- Linocut, monoprinting, drypoint, and collagraph techniques
- Combining multiple printmaking methods in one artwork
- Texture, layering, and colour experimentation
- Mark-making, hand-inking, and creative image development
- Developing a personal style and series of mixed media prints

The course provides a supportive, hands-on environment, allowing you to experiment freely while learning technical skills, problem-solving, and creative development. By the end of six weeks, you'll have a cohesive body of mixed media prints and the confidence to continue exploring printmaking independently or in the studio.

Suitable for: Beginners to intermediate printmakers
Materials: Basic materials provided; bring any preferred inks or papers if desired
Outcome: A portfolio of original mixed media prints and new techniques for future practice.

Venue: Hannah Cantellow Studio, inside The Mind Tree Café, Marsh Lane, Furlong Close, Rowde, Devizes, SN10 2NG

Dates & Times: Thursdays, 11am til 2pm - starts 7th May 2026 and finishes 18th June 2026 (no session on 4th June)

You don't need to bring anything except:

An apron/old clothes (it can get a little inky!)
Any sketches or photos you'd like to use for inspiration (these must be your own and not copies)
Printmaking materials and tools will be provided.

Refreshments: Tea, coffee and biscuits are always provided. *Please note - the Café is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays*

Free Parking: available nearby, and the venue is fully accessible. If you have any specific needs, just let me know.
