Modern Calligraphy for Beginners - Maul's Wine Bar

Come along to the beautiful Maul's Wine Bar in Salisbury and learn the art of beautiful hand-lettering whilst sipping a glass of something nice! This workshop is suitable for anyone wanting to learn how to use traditional pen and ink with a contemporary flourish.

We will go through the pen stroke basics before working through each letter form and learning how to join it all together to create words in your own modern italic script.

All materials will be provided for you to use on the day. You will also be able to take your kit home with you to carry on practising.

Kit includes: nib, pen holder, letter reference sheets and a pot of ink

One glass of red/white wine or a soft drink alternative is included in the price.
