Modern Calligraphy for Beginners

Come along to my calligraphy studio in Salisbury and learn the art of beautiful hand-lettering. This workshop is suitable for anyone wanting to learn how to use traditional pen and ink with a contemporary flourish.

We will go through the pen stroke basics before working through each letter form and learning how to join it all together to create words in your own modern italic script.

All materials will be provided for you to use on the day. You will also be able to take your kit home with you to carry on practising.

Kit includes: nib, pen holder, letter reference sheets and a pot of ink
