About
Fisherton Mill is delighted to welcome the UK Glass Collective to the Mill with a beautiful collection of handmade glass artworks, inspired by nature, and created using a myriad of different techniques. United in their passion for all things glass, this group of 12 artists formed as a collective in 2023 after meeting at a shared exhibition.
'Nature on Display' runs for 6 weeks, offering budget-friendly gift items on the themes of Halloween and Christmas as well as unique pieces of glass art for the home or for that extra special Christmas present.
Group members will be in the gallery for 'Meet the Artist' days on: Friday 30th October from 1pm-3pm & Saturday 7th November from 11am-3pm.
For those wishing to create their own piece of glass artwork, a number of half-day workshops accompany the exhibition. On Tuesday 20 October Alex Compton will be at the Mill for a spooky Halloween glass skull workshop and on Friday 30 October and Friday 6 November Mandy Capel from 'Glasschick' will be helping participants to create beautiful opaque glass ornaments.
Workshops are held in the Mill's first floor workshop studio. Further details are on the Fisherton Mill website www.fishertonmill.co.uk/workshops
