About
The world of aviation is changing. Moving towards more autonomous, more cost effective and more sustainable aircraft.
One of the world's more exciting autonomous military aviation programmes is Proteus, a technology demonstrator programme delivered by Leonardo in the UK in partnership with the Royal Navy and UK MOD. The aim is to demonstrate that autonomous systems can more cost effectively deliver operational capability currently provided by crewed platforms.
Join Mike Roberts, Proteus Marketing Lead at Leonardo, at the Army Flying Museum at 7pm on Monday 23rd March to hear the fascinating story of Proteus from its conception to the race against the weather to fly Proteus for the first time.
You will be given the option to book a pre-lecture dinner of a Hog Roast Roll with Chips and Salad in the Museum's Apache Café at 6pm. There will be a vegetarian option available. Meal bookings must be made by Friday 20th March.
If you are unable to attend in person, then you can buy an online pass to watch live and join in the Q&A, or watch on catch up at your convenience afterwards.
